Mead Open Farm (Leighton Buzzard)

Mead Open Farm offers heaps more play and stacks more smiles. And it’s all inclusive too!

Open 356 days a year from 10am until 6.30pm (Closed 24 December – 1 January inclusive).

With a jam-packed programme of ‘hands-on’ events, get really close. Cuddle rabbits, bottle feed lambs, milk cows or meet our new baby animals!

Plus in Shaggy’s PlayWorld, you can enjoy over 10,000 sq feet of indoor play. Brave giant drop slides, scramble zig zag net climbers and zoom down firemans poles. For toddlers there’s also a designated soft play zone.

Combined with go-karts, outdoor log play adventure and during the summer months, tractor and trailer rides, there’s so much to do. So much in fact, you will have deserved your break in the Tea Room or Shaggy’s PlayWorld cafe.

Easter Excitement – During the Easter school holidays, follow our Easter Egg hunt and win yourself a chocolate treat.

Maize Maze – July and August - Bigger then ever. Find your way through our Maize Maze and read all about fun animal facts!

Sheep Racing – April to October - On your marks, get set and they’re off! Guess the winning sheep and win a free badge!

Reptile Roadshow – Come face to face with snakes, lizards and other reptiles.

Halloween Family Fun - From 13 to 31 October. During the October half term, there’s plenty of extra ghoulish fun. Visit the spooky barn, carve a pumpkin and follow the Witches Trail.

Christmas Magic – From 1 to 23 December, Mead Open Farm is full of Christmas cheer. Children can visit Santa, board the Lapland Express, walk through a Winter Wonderland and visit the Elves Workshed.

Childrens Parties
The all inclusive party packages are great for busy parents. With entry to the farm, a private party room in Shaggy’s PlayWorld, all the party food, party invitations, take home goodie bags and helium balloons. In fact just bring the cake and the kids!

Schools and groups welcome. Free parking for cars and coaches.
