Cedars park is in Theobalds Lane, Waltham Cross. It contains the remains of Theobalds Palace. It has ornamental gardens, woodland areas, a heritage trail, pets' corner, landscaped water gardens, a rose walk and an arboretum. The Park is locked at night.
Tea Rooms: open February to November, Tuesday to Sunday 10.00am-dusk, but dependent on weather conditions. Tel 01992 632648.
The park hosts band concerts and holiday activities.
The entrance to Cheshunt Country Park is via Cheshunt Park Golf Course in Park Lane, Cheshunt. Acres of unspoilt countryside make up this classic park with nature conservation areas, woodlands, a lake and fields adjacent to a par 71, 18-hole golf course. The park is suitable for picnics, rambles and leisurely strolls.
The Park also hosts the annual firework display.
