The largest area of parkland in the Borough of Dacorum. It stretches from Hemel Hempstead Town Centre along the Gade Valley towards Piccotts End both sides of the Leighton Buzzard Road.

The southern end of the park has been developed for recreation with a large children's playground, public bowling green and facilities for crazy golf, croquet, petanque, giant chess and draughts (available May-September).
