Highfield Park Trust manages nearly 25ha of parkland situated in the south eastern corner of St Albans, open all year for everyone to enjoy.

Follow the tree trail around the park, to discover the magnificent tress found in the park. The leaflet can be picked up at the Highfield Park Centre, Russett Drive or downloaded from the website.

The Park has a number of different gardens for you to relax in, ponds, boules courts (boules can be hired for free from the Trust Office), a maze, orchards, woodland with amazing displays of Bluebells in the spring, allotments and football pitches for hiring information please contact the Highfield Park Centre.

Car parking is available at the Highfield Park Centre, Russett Drive. Alternatively the S7 and 655 buses pass the Park. There are a number of kissing gates with RADAR access for mobility impaired visitors. Cycling and horse riding is permitted.

The Park holds it's annual Apple Day on the first Sunday in October and apple juice made from the Park's apples is sold during the autumn.

Health Walks take place twice a week, please see contact information above. Guided walks and events are organised throughout the year, see website for further details. Private tours and talks for groups can be arranged.
