Batchwood Hall (St Albans)

You can hire Batchwood Hall for:
Corporate venue; Barmitzvahs; birthday parties; film location; award ceremonies; christmas parties; summer BBQ; fashion show/product launch.

Batchwood Hall is set on the edge of the historic city of St.Albans and is just a few minutes away from the A1 and M1. The Hall is set in 33 acres of lavish woodland and country golf course. Benifiting from a £1.5 million refurbishment in 2003, the Hall offers two rooms with their own idividual style and music, a relaxing cocktail lounge, an outside terrace BBQ and a sumptious VIP Suite. The hall is available to hire for private parties on an exclusive basis Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday and early doors room hires for smaller parties on nightclub evenings.

Batchwood Hall is open to the public on Thursdays 9.30pm to 2.00am, Fridays 10.00pm to 3.00am and Saturdays 9.10pm to 3.00am. It has various rooms and areas within the nightclub which are available for exclusive use hire to help create the right atmosphere for your function. The areas are available to hire from 7.00pm to 11.00pm. The hire fee would then include entrance into the nightclub for all of your guests.

The D.I.S.C.O. Room: Has a capacity of 250 people. It has its own bar, toilets and is sound proofed from the main room. It also has its own music facilities and a DJ are included in the hire fee.

The Terrace BBQ: Hot summer nights wouldn't be the same without alfresco dining, so utilise our large open-air terrace with views overlooking the adjacent golf course. It boasts outdoor heaters, its own bar facilities and the 'daddy' of a BBQ! With seating for up to 100 people and a total capacity of 150 people.

The Cocktail Lounge: A private room for 80 people, the modern interior decoration provides an intimate style all of it's own. It has its own bar, music and toilet facilities and is sound proofed from the main room.

The VIP Suite: Sumptuous leather sofas, warm colours, cubist shelving and decorations to suit, the VIP suite is a 'modern loft apartment meets lounge'. With a capacity of 70 people, it is completely self-contained with its own bar, music and toilet facilities and once again is sound proofed from the main room.

This facility is owned and maintained by St Albans City and District Council.

Disabled facilities:
Patrolled disabled parking, ramped access into the building, a lift giving access to all areas, with disabled toilet facilities on each level.
