This is a co-educational all-ability school situated on the Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire border. The school has 1300 students on role, including 300 in the sixth form and is a DCSF designated Language College and Science Specialist School.

The Barbirolli Hall, is licensed for regular entertainment with excellent acoustics with full sound and lighting systems, full stage facilities and stage curtaining. The Green Room has a maximum capacity of 100. There are kitchen and cloakroom facilities available within the hall complex. There is disabled access via ramps to the main auditorium. The concert grand piano is also available for hire. For further information and rates, please contact the Premises Manager.

Other facilities available for hire are:
* Language Building - 5 classrooms, ICT facilities and syndicate rooms with disabled access and toilet;
* Floodlit Astro Turf pitch, configured as either one large single playing area or two short pitches;
* Tennis courts also marked out for games such as volleyball;
* Fully equipped Gymnasium and Sports Hall;
* Drama Hall designed for rehearsal use and the staging of small productions;
* Function Rooms, including the Green Room (seats 50) in the Barbirolli Hall complex;
* Sixth From Centre with large spaces and adjoining 'breakout' classrooms, equipped with small kitchenette ans toilets.

Directions: One mile from Junction 18 of the M25.
