Hertford Road Community Centre (Stevenage)

This small friendly centre is managed by the Hertford Road Community Association. Everyone is welcome to attend the executive meetings which are alternative months.

The Main Hall is available for hire on Saturday evenings; it has a capacity for 100 with a licenced bar. The meeting room has a capacity for 20 seated. Children's Party bookings on Saturday and Sunday afternoons cost £25 (returnable), £30.00 hire.

Groups that meet regularly at the Centre are:
Playgroup, Little Toads, Children's gym club, Crafty Club, Irish Dancing, Keep Fit Over 50s, Stay & Play Workshops through school holidays, Carpet Bowls, Computer training 3 session per week, Slimming World, Brownies, Tap dancing, Chiropodist (once a month), Church service (Sunday morning and evening) and digital photography.

During school holidays they hold stay and play workshops for children 5-11 years old. They have a safe enclosed garden.

Booking office: Monday-Friday 10.00am-3.00pm.

Directions: Stevenage station is over 3 miles away. Bus routes 8 and 9 stop about 2 minutes walk away.

Accessibility: Good signage. Good ramps/level access. Disabled toilet.
Accessible to a wheelchair user travelling with assistance.
