This centre is maintained and run by the Leisure & Community Services department of Watford Council.
The centre has a Junior Club (from ages 5-11 years) & Youth Club (for ages 11-18 years old) for children as well as Play Schemes in the Easter and Summer holidays.
Further groups catering for the African-Caribbean, Asian, Chinese and Muslim communities also meet regularly. The Redeem Christian Church, the Spiritual Church and a bowling club for the over fifties are among other groups who meet at the centre.
We have karate lessons running on Tuesday evenings from 6.00pm from the age of six upwards.
R T Dance runs Street Dance classes on Thursday evenings 6.00pm-8.30pm from aged 6 upwards.
From the 6th September 2008 a Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club will start at Holywell C.C. on Saturday mornings 9.00am-10.30am.
The centre has a large hall (for 150 people seated or 200 standing) available for hire. A kitchen equipped with cooker and microwave is included in any hire agreement and the centre also has other, smaller, rooms available for meetings or functions.
There is no bar at the centre but drinks may be brought in if requested in advance. Drink is not allowed to be sold within the centre.
