Church House (Hitchin)

The Church House is situated in the centre of town opposite St. Mary's Church in the Churchyard, Hitchin.

Various groups use this Church Hall including: Mother and toddler groups, floral clubs and Hitchin historical group.

Coffee mornings/ tea afternoons for charities/ town organisations are held on Tuesdays and Saturdays to raise money for their cause.

Community groups use the hall in the evenings and a whist drive is held on Thursday afternoons.

Catering Facilities: There is a small kitchen available for hire.

Costs: Hire costs £13 per hour + £5 for use of kitchen (2006).

Opening Hours: Church office is open 9.30am-12 noon Monday to Friday. Answerphone thereafter.

Directions: Church House is situated in the centre of Hitchin opposite St Mary's Church.
Hitchin station is not far away but buses 8, 100, 101 stop nearby.

Accessibility: Ramp available for wheelchair access, and loop system for people with hearing difficulties.
