Hitchin Priory was originally a 14th Century Carmelite Monastery which was rebuilt in the Georgian era as a private home.

Now the Priory offers a range of services including bed and breakfast and residential training and conference facilities:

* 16 meeting rooms;
* 60 ensuite bedrooms;
* 19 acres of parkland setting;
* 35 minutes from central London by train;
* Reception open 24 hours;
* Fax, photocopying and wordprocessing facilities;
* Message handling;
* Laundry and dry cleaning;
* 9-hole pitch and putt;
* Croquet, fishing, gymnasium, sauna and steam room;

* Ample free car parking;
* Ample grounds for motivational activities (inside and out)
* Static marquee available from May to October - a versatile venue for corporate events up to 300.

The Priory can be booked for a range of events including: private dinners, birthday celebrations, business luncheons, conferences and seminars, Christmas and anniversary celebrations.

Civil ceremonies can be conducted in the splendour of the main house. All rooms offer elegance and period features as the house harmoniously blends 14th Century architecture with that of the Georgian era.

Directions: The Priory is in the town centre, only yards from the market square. It is situated opposite the end of Sun Street and easily accessible from the B656 road via Bridge Street.
