Institute of Advanced Motorists

The aims of the IAM are to improve the standard of driving/riding and the advancement of road safety through the establishment of an advanced driving/riding test.

The Skill for Life programme is available at £99 for cars and £109 for motorcycles and includes your:

* Personal copy of the IAM's manual, "How to be an Advanced Driver or Rider";
* Associate membership of the local IAM Group you choose, which will provide you with a course of theory and on-road guidance and a welcome at Group meetings, events and social activities;
The chance to meet informally with an IAM Examiner prior to your test.
* The Advanced Driving Test;
* First year membership of the IAM (on passing the test).
