Kingsmead club is a 50 acre lake with three small islands in Berkshire.
Facilities include:
Club House, with refreshments available, licensed bar, changing facilities, toilets and hot showers; Car park; Enclosed boat park with space for around 150 boats; Dry-foot launching and extensive jetties.
There is a varied racing programme, 2 races on Sunday, throughout the year Wednesday evening from April to August, cruising and training on Saturdays during the Summer, regattas and other events over the Bank Holidays. Social events including parties, barbecues and fleet evenings are held.
The club is a RYA Recognised Training Establishment and training is available for young or inexperienced helms during the Summer. The courses are normally held on Saturdays. Club boats, GP14, Toppers, Mirrors and Optimists are available for hire by members who have not yet decided on the class they wish to sail.

Opening Hours: Open to members 7 days a week, racing mainly at the weekends and Wednesday evenings. Youth sailing events some Sunday afternoons.
Directions: The club is in Datchet Road, Horton near Slough (on the south side of Queen Mother Reservoir), one mile from junction 14 of M25 (follow signs for Datchet) and one mile from Junction 5 of M4 (follow signs for Wraysbury and then Horton). Also a short walk from Sunnymeads Station on Staines - Windsor Branch railway line.
