Yoga is a combination of physical and mental disciplines which make the body stronger and healthier and the mind calmer and more controlled helping towards self-realisation.

Yoga can be all things to all people. It can be low impact but it can also be very demanding. Yoga promotes flexibility, tension release, also builds stamina and strength.

Everyone works to their own ability appealing to all personalities and ages - male or female. New students are surprised at the effect of this different form of exercise.

In your very 1st class, even if you have worked very hard, you may go away expecting to feel tired, instead you will have a sense of well-being, feeling better.

Hatha Yoga is probably the most well known yoga and includes Asanas (body posture), Pranayamas (control of vital energy through breath control), Kriyas (cleansing) and Deep Relaxation to reduce stress and build self-confidence.

All welcome, not competitive. You need to wear loose clothing and you will need a mat/blanket (for relaxation).
