Rambles are usually in Hertfordshire and the Chilterns and occasionally in Essex, Buckinghamshire or London.

9-12 mile rambles every Sunday and occasional midweek walks. A good selection of shorter rambles between 5-8 miles, all usually on a Sunday.

The Ramblers aim to make the countryside a better place to walk in. They are involved in improving footpaths and campaign for more access to open country.

Parent organisation: Ramblers Association (Headquarters).

Publications: Walks Programme including a newsletter three times a year.
