West Anglian Orienteering Club

Orienteering involves navigating your way at your own pace between controls, which are marked on a special large scale coloured map. The courses vary in length from less than 2Km to over 12Km and most WAOC events have a "string course", which toddlers and young children can follow safely through the forest.

WAOC puts on a Sunday event almost every month except July and August. Neighbouring clubs do the same and the WAOC newsletter will give details of other clubs events.

Annual Subscriptions (Jan 2009):
* Senior £10.00;
* Junior £2.50;
* Family £10.00;
* Group (eg Scouts etc) £10.00.

Individual events cost about £4.00 adults and £1.50 Junior or Student.
