HOAC is a watersports and outdoor education centre providing access and training for both youngsters and adults. It has a 45 acre lake in a rural setting. It is run as a charity (Colne Valley Youth and Community Association) in partnership with the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Everyone is welcome regardless of age, ability or aspirations. The centre offers a range of water and land activities for schools and groups. For the public it offers annual membership and boatparking, day membership and equipment hire. A full range of certificate courses in sailing, wind surfing and canoeing are offered. There are also clubs and year-round dinghy racing.
