Royston Netball Club

They are currently running five senior teams in the winter and three senior teams in the summer. They train at the Greenaway School in Royston every Wednesday during term time from 7.30pm-9.00pm with floodlights in the winter.

The first time plays in Division 2 of the Regional Clubs League (East Region). This means that they are amongst the top 20 teams in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, East Essex, Essex Thurrock, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. The second team plays in Division 1 of the Cambridgeshire and District League, the third team plays in Division 1 and the fourth team plays in Division 2 of the John Henry Newman League in Stevenage. Their fifth team, a development squad, currently plays in Division 4 of the Turnford Seniors Netball League.

In the Summer they enter two teams in the Turnford Summer Netball League in Hertfordshire, one in Division 1 and one in Division 4 and a further team in the Cambridge and District Summer League.

They welcome players of all abilities, even if you have not played for a number of years. They organise a number of social events throughtout the year.

Royston Junior Netball Club is open to players aged 8 and over. The juniors train every Wednesday during term time from 6.30pm-7.30pm at Greneway School, Garden Walk, Royston. They have two level 2 coaches who take training. The weekly cost is ?2.50, payable half-termly in advance. They do not train during the school holidays, although there maybe holiday clubs.

All members of the club are affiliated to England Netball and they are also members of the Royston and District Sports Council.
