The Trust has recognised that football and other sports can play an important part in helping to promote and develop lifelong learning and healthy living within the communities it serves.
Working in partnership with local government, community organisations and commercial companies, the Trust had identified three main areas for its activity and development.

* Family Learning
* Inset training for teachers
* Work experience and work based learning
* GCSE, KS2 and KS3 SAT revision weekends and holidays
* Computer courses
* Numeracy and ICT mornings
* Adult learning
