The Cyclists' Touring Club, formed in 1878, is the largest, longest established cycling organisation in Britain.
The Hertfordshire District Association is divided into four sections based in Hemel Hempstead; Bishops Stortford; St Albans & Hatfield and Hitchin & Stevenage. Each section organises rides of various lengths on Sundays and some mid-week rides too.
The rides progress along the minor and country roads of this and neighbouring counties wherever possible, stopping for refreshments at coffee shops, garden centres and pubs.
In addition to the rides, we have a club evening in Colney Heath every Thursday (except the second Thursday of each month) from 8.30pm to 10.30pm to socalise, discuss cycling issues and view slides of members holidays.
All ages and abilities are welcome.
Venue for meetings: Colney Heath Village Hall, High Street, Colney Heath.
