The North Road Cycling Club has been in existence for over 100 years and is located in the Hertford area. The Club has approximately 180 members, both male and female, and the membership covers a wide range of ages.
The Club's many activities include both competitive and recreational cycling. Among these are regular Sunday runs, Saturday training rides, time trial, road racing, track riding, mid-week lunch runs, Continental randonees, YHA and other tours. There are also numerous social occasions.
Club promotions include organising evening time trials throughout the summer, a Hardriders event in February, The Memorial 50 in September and a Grass Track Meeting in Hertford in May.
Weekly meetings take place at Brickendon on Tuesdays during the summer and circuit & fitness training in the winter in Hertford at Richard Hale School on Wednesdays.
