They are a large club of mainly road bike enthusiasts.

Verulam Cycling Club is based in St Albans and has over 140 members. It is affiliated to all the major cycling bodies but its main interests is road riding.

The clubroom is on Monday nights at Fleetville Community Centre, but every Sunday Club runs meet at St Peters Street in St Albans at 9.00am. On 22ndh June 2008 they are running Ride 4 a reason, a ride for regular cyclists but who may not be in any form of organised cycling. For more information see Ride4areason.verulamcc.org.uk
