Primary School Kwik Cricket National Tournament (Hertfordshire)

Kwik Cricket is now established in primary schools around the country. The national tournament is organised initially at county level through cricket clubs and district councils running tournaments for their local primary schools leading to a county finals day. In Hertfordshire two teams from the county final attend a regional final (Eastern Region - Essex, Norfolk, Bedfordshire, Huntingdonshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Hertfordshire) and this tournament culminates in a national final at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, to which two teams from the regional final are invited to take part. Three tournaments now take place; for mixed teams year 5 & 6 and all girl's teams. Teams consist of eight children a side.
