The Hertfordshire County Cricket Association is involved with all aspects of the organisation and management of cricket in Hertfordshire.
The Association is closely linked with five other bodies of the County: The Hertfordshire Cricket Coaches Association, The Hertfordshire Umpires and Scorers Society, The Saracens Hertfordshire Cricket League, The Hertfordshire Association of Cricket Groundsmen and the Hertfordshire Schools Cricket Association.
Aims:
* To encourage, promote and manage the game of cricket at all levels to ensure that it is played within the Laws of Cricket and in the Spirit of the Game;
* To seek, receive and manage all relevant funds and apply them for the benefit of cricket;
* To co-ordinate and provide a channel of communication between all cricket interests in the County;
* To provide a channel of communication between Hertfordshire cricket organisations and the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and other controlling bodies;
* To compete in the name of Hertfordshire County Cricket Association or Club in appropriate competitions under the aegis of the ECB, the Minor Counties Cricket Association and other bodies;
* To respond to ECB strategies, policies, requests and plans as they apply to cricket in Hertfordshire;
* To recognise the principles of Sport Equity, Equal Opportunity and Child Welfare.
