Art of Energetics

Energetics (Qigong)
Meditation and exercises based on the principles and concepts of the ancient chinese art of chi-kung (qigong) for developing internal energy or chi (qi) for healing and health. It is based on meditation techniques and relaxed exercises.

Tai Chi
These classes are used as an introduction to the Tai Chi art or for people who do not want to make a commitment to the full art. Tai Chi is for physical, mental and emotional control and flexibility, it is for people not so much interested in the martial uses of the internal energy (Chi) as the generation of it for health. It is less difficult to learn than the full art.
Costs: £8 per class (a 6 week intro course is available for £30).

Tai Chi Chuan
Chuan means fist or boxing and denotes Martial Arts training, as well as the above, it is for learning how to use the internal energy (Chi) for self defence. The Tai Chi Chuan class has the same training as the Energetics and Tai Chi Classes plus learning the Traditional Long Forms (Hand, Long Sword and Broadsword), Pushing Hands (Single, Double, Sensitivity, Ta Lu) and Energy Work (Fa Jing, Kong Jing, Ting Jing, Dynamic Pushing)
Costs: extra £4 - £8 per class depending on time and training.
