This club meets in the gym of the Hitchin Boys School School,
Grammar School Walk, Hitchin, Herts.
Beginners meet on Thursdays at 6.30pm and Advanced Class on
Thursdays at 7.30pm.
Traditional karate helps to give confidence and focus your mind.
It teaches discipline, etiquette, self defence and fitness. The
Hitchin club has been established since 1994 and is following
traditional values to promote karate for everyone over the age of 6, male or female. There is no upper age limit. Most importantly, the club wants people to enjoy karate as well as achieving the benefits that come with it.
The cost is £3.50 for the under 14's and £4.00 for adults per
session. Special discounts may also apply, including 6 months FREE insurance and free karate suits.
FREE taster courses are also available to schools.
The Association of Traditional Shotokan Karate (ATSK) is a member of the Federation of English Karate Organisations, which gives membership into other national and international bodies,
including Karate England.
There are limited disabled facilities.
