Aikido is a powerful but thoughtful martial art.
The word Aikido means 'The Way of Peace and Harmony'. It differs from other martial arts in that it can only be used for self-defence.

It relies on balance, timing and angles to overpower an attacker. It does not rely on strength, and is therefore suitable for all men and women over the age of 18.

Beginners are always welcome and can start training at any time.

Date of AGM: April

Affiliated to ARF, which in turn affiliated to The British Aikido Board.
