Parmiter's School

Summary Organisation also known as Parmiter's Sports Centre.

There are approximately 1250 pupils at Parmiters aged from 11 to 18 years of age. There is a wide range of out of school activities especially in music, sports and drama. There are currently over 300 pupils in the sixth form who usually go on to higher education.

There is a Sports Centre on site which was opened in summer 1997 for the children to use during school days and for the local community during weekends and evenings. In 2004, a new floodlit synthetic pitch for football was officially opened, which is available to members of the public outside school time.

The School offers courses and its facilities for the benefit of the local community and businesses. These include and IT suite with 32 networked PCs and a music recording suite and video conferencing facilities.
