Wodson Park Sports and Recreation Centre

Sports and Recreation Centre including:
* Two Sports Halls, one with spectator facilities;

* Floodlit all-weather astro turf;

The site covers approximately 29 acres.

There are many classes for both adults and children, including athletics, badminton, basketball, football, gymnastics, jogging, judo, karate, rugby, sequence dancing, chart dancing, short tennis, tae kwan do and tai chi.

There is a creche available from 9.15am-11.15am Mondays to Fridays (please phone to check at holiday times). During school holidays there are activities for children aged 2 to 11.

The Cafe provides lunches and snacks, and will cater for large or small events, including business lunches, conferences, dinner dances, parties, etc. If you book facilities at Wodson Park you can bring in your own food, but not outside caterers and you are not allowed to use the kitchen; the cafe can arrange all types of catering for you.

The Wadesmill Suite consists of a dance floor and two bars and is flexible in its size. It is suitable for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties (not 18th), conferences, dinner dances and social events. The unique Old Charm Bar is ideal for smaller private dinner parties or buffets. On Friday evenings, the Wadesmill Suite can be hired at special rates for acceptable uses by non-profit making adult groups.

Children's birthday parties at Wodson Park: hire half the sports hall for sports, have a disco in the Wadesmill Suite (up to age 11 only), or have a bouncy castle party. Please phone to discuss your requirements.
