Summary Formerly called Hawksmoor Centre

Welcome to the Hertswood Centre Borehamwood. The Hertswood Centre (formerly known as The Hawksmoor Centre ) re-opened in June 1997 following a £1.5 million refurbishment, which helped establish the centre as one of the busiest dual-use centres in the UK.

Adjoining the new Hertswood School, the facility is used exclusively by the school 9.00am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday, with public use every evening and during the weekend

The Hertswood facilities include:
- Beaumonts Health Club incorporating;
- Beaumonts Fitness Studio incorporating 30 stations;
- Beaumonts Dance Studio;
- Beaumonts Bar;
- Sports Hall (5 Badminton Courts);
- 3 Squash Courts.
