Sportspace Berkhamsted

The 25m swimming pool has a full programme of swimming lessons for children and adults, plus lifeguard qualification.

The main sports hall has six badminton courts, volleyball, cricket practice, 5-a-side, trampoline, roller skating sessions, basketball, short tennis, table tennis and bowls. The activity room is suitable for martial arts, aerobic exercise, dance and toddler gym. There is a huge programme of adult and junior sport and fitness classes. The Young @ Heart (50+) sessions include fitness classes and sports for over fifties.

Other facilities include a squash court, Gymspace (50 units), aerobics studio, tennis courts, netball court, hockey practice, astroturf all-weather 5-a-side and creche. There is also cafespace for drinks and refreshments.

Personal training, personal programmes, fitness assessments and memberships, individual tuition, and children's birthday parties are available. The cafe can be booked for events and parties. The function suite can accommodate up to 100 for discos.

Kidspace holiday activities run during the school holidays. This includes supervised sessions for under 8's, registered with OFSTED. There are also special rates on court hire for 9-18 year olds.

Costs: There is a wide range of discounts available for Dacorum Card holders and Sports Pass purchasers.

Accessibility: Pool has a hoist. Changing rooms with special showers and toilet facilities are available. Please contact reception about the use of these and other facilities.
