Outdoor bowling from end of April to end of September.
Costs: Annual subscription men £103.00, Ladies £84.00; new bowlers in 1st year £91.00.
The club is part of St Albans Bowling and Sports Club Ltd, which was formed in 1919. A new pavilion, incorporating a licensed bar, was opened in 2001. This is shared with the Townsend Lawn Tennis Club, with 8 hard courts and teams in the Hertfordshire Leagues.
Membership is open to all from the age of 12 to 90+. New members are welcome to join the men and ladies sections.
The clubhouse is available for hire. Enquiries for hire should be addressed to the Club Steward at the pavilion on 01727 846333 during evenings.
