The club meets at The Bowling Green, Hockerill Street (behind Stort Wholesalers), Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire daily from May to September.
The club aims to promote the game of bowls for players of all ages and abilities including the disabled. Beginners are welcome. Club afternoons are held on Tuesday and Fridays at 2.30pm
The club plays regular matches against other Hertfordshire and Essex clubs. Members are encouraged to enter National Hertfordshire County, and East Herts Bowls Association and club competitions.
The club holds a number of social events in the winter season to maintain contact between members.
Facilities include :
* 6 Bowling Rinks;
* Changing Rooms;
* Equipped Pavillion;
* Kitchen and Bar.
New members - whether new bowlers or experienced are very welcome.
There is an annual membership fee of £65.00.
