There are currently 200 Royston Runners and the Club is keen to welcome more. The membership covers all abilities from the elite runner to the jogger, those with competitive ambitions to those with a more social nature. You will never have to run alone unless you wish to. The Club prides itself in being supportive to new members.

Membership of Royston Runners is £25.00 each year (as at April 2001), and runs from October through to the following September. Membership is open to anyone aged 15 years and over, male and female, speedy or jogger! Persons below 15 may attend but must be supervised by an appropriate adult during each training session.

Not everyone is competitive but the Club is widely represented throughout the region. The runners actively support the network of local fun runs and road races to which shared transport is available from Therfield Heath. A full social calendar operates throughout the year, whether it is simply a social run in an evening to a drink in the bar, through to organised events from BBQs to Bowl 'n' Bite, Training Weekends to Annual Dinner Dance.

Date of AGM: October.

Publications: Monthly newsletter.
