The Celtic Harmony Longbow Archery Club is run by Celtic Harmony, a non-for-profit organisation promoting better understanding of the natural world and the ancient Celtic culture. The longbow archery club is a member of the NFAS (National Field Archery Society) and is dedicated to traditional archery using longbows. The club us based at Celtic Harmony Cemp, a Celtic settlement and education centre located in 13 acres of native woodland, near Brickendon - about 5 miles for Hertford.
The club has a friendly and informal atmosphere and is an ideal place to practise and learn more about the ancient art of Longbow Shooting at targets in the field and in woodland and learning a range of shooting techniques such as Clout Shooting. The Archery Field is large, perfect for target and clout shooting with the use of the Celtic Harmony camp's extensive woodland for field shooting.
Experienced and beginner archers are welcome as are people of all abilities, from the age of seven upwards. There are regular beginners' courses which are an ideal introduction to th esport, including Health and Safety, Shooting Rules and Target practice and Field Archery.
