EASB is the National Governing Body for Amateur Snooker and Billiards in England, with ten regional areas corresponding to the Sport England areas.

The EASB runs national tournaments for vaious age groups from under 13's through to under 21's, plus the "English Amateur" and the "English Open". Coaching is available in various clubs throughout the country.

It is affiliated to EBSA (European Billiards and Snooker Association), for Europe-wide international competitions, and IBSF (International Billiards and Snooker Federation), the world governing body for all billiards and snooker, other than professional.

Dan Lewis, previously a EASB Director, is based at WT's Snooker & Sporting Club in Cambridge which has coaching for juniors (under 15) on Saturday mornings 10.00am-12 noon; and coaching for adults on Saturdays from 11.00am and by arrangement. Special rates for under 18's, students, senior citizens, families, and holders of Cambridge City Leisurecard and Company membership.
