Harpenden Common Golf Club has been on Harpenden Common since 1894 and prides itself on its friendliness and its traditional values. The course is easy to walk and is a wonderful mixture of mature trees and gorse.
Harpenden Common Golf Club regularly welcomes a number of societies who have been visiting them for years. One reason societies keep returning is that the course is rarely closed for bad weather, so it is nice to know that the day out you have booked is not likely to be called off.
The course is also an easy walking course and 36 holes in one day is easily manageable for all age groups. In 1994 we incorporated new holes designed by Ken Brown, who was a junior here and whose children are also members now. This gives the course a great mix of character that requires different skills from golfers.
