As a Church, The Salvation Army preaches the Christian gospel. It emphasis is on God's saving purposes. It does not discriminate between 'deserving' or undeserving'.
As well as holding regular Sunday Services, which are open to all members of the public. The Salvation Army evangelises in the open air, in residential streets, shopping malls, pubs and clubs. Its evangelising newspaper 'The War Cry' sells more than 100,000 copies every week.
As a social work agency, the Army provides, food, shelter and numerous professional services in 112 countries - more than half of which are developing countries.
Weekly Programme:
Sunday: Worship at 10.30am; afternoon as announced.
Monday: Brownies 6.30pm.
Tuesday: Lunch Club 12.45pm; Over Sixties Club 2.00pm.
Saturday: Rainbows 10.00am
Other activities including Jumble Sales as announced and advertised.
