Way Inn Christian Centre (Berkhamsted)

The Way Inn Christian Centre opened in 1990, and since then has provided a valuable service to the people of Berkhamsted and the surrounding area. The Way Inn is a Christian Charitable Trust.

We run the town's main Post Office, a Christian Bookshop, a Restaurant/Coffee Shop and a Counselling Service for the local community.

The Post Office offers all the facilities of the Royal Mail, including foreign currency, passport photos, passport checking service, car tax, bill payment as well as stamps, post and parcel services.

The Christian Book Shop sells a wide range of general stationary supplies and greetings cards as well as Christian books and gifts. We are also able to order books we do not hold in stock often receiving them in a couple of days. We also stock book tokens, CDs, cassettes and videos, computer software, bibles, hymn and song books, National Curriculum teaching resources.

Our welcoming Restaurant/Coffee Shop offers a range of drinks and snacks as well as a daily selection of home cooked meals. We also take evening party bookings. Children are very welcome. We can provide high chairs, booster seats, bibs etc. as well as a selection of books and toys. There is also a special children's menu. A number of vegetarian dishes are always available and coeliacs can be catered for with advance notice.

The Way Inn Christian Counselling Service provides a confidential professional counselling service to help those struggling with difficult situations ranging from bereavement, marriage, divorce or unemployment to depression and feelings of inadequacy. The counselling service is open to all regardless of ethnicity, outlook or religion.
