Digswell Village Church

Digswell Village church is a united congregation of the Church of England and Methodist Church.

Services:

* Holy Communion - lasting about 30 minutes. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday at 9am.

* Prayer Group - 2nd and 4th Sunday Prayer Group The prayer group meet at 9.15am in the church for 20 minutes.

* Sunday Services - every Sunday at 10.00am for 1 hour.

Activities:

Junior Church (Sunday School) for children of all ages is run during the 10am service covering a planned programme of Bible stories, Crafts and Prayer.

Noah's Ark pre-school - children’s group meets on Thursday afternoons in school term time: 1.30pm- 3.00pm in the Church Hall, Warren Way. Crafts, Music, Singing, Short service - Mums and Dads also welcome ! Tel: 01438 716737.

Tuesday Get-Together - Meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday each month at 10.15am in the Church Hall. Enjoy interesting speakers and other activities and the chance to chat over refreshments, plus a summer outing. Tel: 01438 717740.

Bereavement Visting - Bereavement visitors are trained to visit people in their homes, to listen and offer support during a distressing time. We provide this support to anyone in the community, whether or not they are connected with this Church or any other Church. For information: Tel: 01438 717740.

Church Groups:
* Alpha Course is a 10 week course in the basics of christianity. Next course details from: Tel 01438 714780;

* Bible Study Group meets in the evening on the 4th Thursday of
every month;

* Sunday Discussion group on the 2nd Sunday at 11.30am in the
church;

* Prayer group 2nd+4th Sunday at 9.15am. Church Choir;

* Property maintenance group.
