This is an Anglican (Church of England) church, located in Bushey Mill Lane, Watford. There's a vicar (Revd Chris Cottee), a parish of 9000 people in 3500 local homes and a certain amount of liturgy in their services. They use service-books with some set prayers and so on.

They try to keep this amount in balance as too much can easily become 'dry' whereas they want their worship to be joyful and alive - a real meeting with God, not a formal repetition of set words. On the other hand, prayers and other parts of the servicethat they say together can help them to focus on God and feel that they are doing it as a group, not just alone.

They are a 'bible-based' church as they believe that God is known and rightly understood through the Word that He Himself has given us. They are also seeking to be open to the Holy Spirit, who makes our relationship with Jesus Christ real and alive.

Joyful worship, biblical teaching, loving fellowship, dedicated prayer, glad giving and effective outreach are all central to their life here.
