St Francis of Assisi Church, Hammerfield was dedicated in 1914. A daughter church of St Johns, Boxmoor, it follows the Catholic tradition, in the Church of England, teaching the Apostolic faith with traditional worship.

The Church holds a sung mass with sermon at 9.30am each Sunday. Weekday masses are 8.00am on Tuesday, 8.00pm on Thursday, Soleninities and major feasts (check with priest in case of variation).

The Provincial Episcopal Visitor is the Bishop of Richborough; the Church also support "Forward in Faith".

The Church is located in Glenview Road, Boxmoor. The hall next to the Church is available for hire (Tel 01442 875418).

Directions to Church:
Take the Bovingdon exit (Station Road) from the magic roundabout in Hemel Hempstead. Follow the feeder lane on the right hand side into St John's Road. Turn second right into Beechfield Road and the Church is situated on the right hand side leading into Glenview Road.
