Christ Church (St Albans)

Christ Church is the community of people who meet there, and our prayer is that you will feel very welcome in all your encounters with us and that you might experience God working among us.

Christ Church Centre was first opened in 1980 and is looked upon as a Centre for worship on Sundays and for the community throughout the week.

Main Sunday services are at 9.15am and 10.30am. There is a Communion Service each week. The following should help you work out what to expect:

* 1st Sunday in month - 9.15am Holy Communion (BCP); 10.30am Morning Praise.

* 2nd Sunday of the month - 9.15am Morning Prayer; 10.30am Morning Praise; 11.45am Holy Communion.

* 3rd Sunday of the month - 9.15am Morning Prayer (BCP); 10.30am Family Service; 11.45am Holy Communion.

* 4th Sunday of the month - 9.15am Morning Prayer; 10.30am All age service Holy Communion.

* 5th Sunday of the month - 9.15am Holy Communion; 10.30pm Morning Praise.

A prayer ministry time is offered at the end of 10.30am service.

For the hard of hearing - sound is amplified and there is an induction loop system, so you can switch your hearing aid to "T" for additional enhancement. Other disabled facilities are available on site.

There is a creche for children under 3 operating throughout the 10.30am service. Children and young people are welcome and have their own activities and service.
