The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a society founded on:
- Freedom of thought, freedom from oppression and freedom from poverty;
- Fairness for everyone to progress, without bias of race, class or sex;
- Trust, earned by democratically elected representative government.

The Organisation aims to elect a Liberal Democrat MP and local councillors.

Meeting dates and venues vary. Members are advised by newsletter. Public events are generally advertised in the local press.
