The centre provides older people in the area with good lunches, the opportunity to socialise and to engage in a range of stimulating activities.

* Opening Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4.00pm; Saturday 9.30am-2.00pm.

* Activities include: art groups, craft groups, keep fit, dancing, yoga, tai chi, calligraphy, carpet bowls, snooker, board games, bingo, outings and holidays.

* Services include: charity shop, hairdresser, visiting chiropodist, hearing aid clinic and pension service surgery.

There is a support worker for Asian elders. A group meets at Douglas Tilbe House where activities and lunch are available.

Transport is available through the Welwyn Hatfield District Council Transport Co-ordination Scheme for those unable to attend the Centre by any other means.
