The Carers Support scheme is available countywide in partnership with Age Concern Dacorum.

Carers Support offers support to people aged 55 and over who give unpaid care to a partner, parent, relative or friend. The aim of the scheme is to provide support that meets the needs of older carers.

The service offers:

  • Help with making applications and referrals to other sources of support
  • The opportunity to hav contact with other people who have has similar experiences
  • Access to information on sources of financial support, practical help and support groups in the area.
Our service is free and confidential. The Carers support workers can give information over the telephone, visit at home or an independent venue.

Complementary Therapies for Carers
This project enables carers to experience a wide range of complementary therapies over a 10 week period. Therapies include: massage, aromatherapy, breathing exercises, healing, meditation and yoga.
