A free, countywide, confidential service to provide older people with help in organising and managing their personal finances and other aspects of domestic administration. A member of the Home Matters team can visit an older person at home to assist them with sorting out this paper work and enabling them to regain control of their finances and lives. This support could be:

* Organising the payment of bills
* Setting up a bank account
* Making funeral arrangements
* Looking at household bugets
* Helping to organise moving house

Each person can decide how much assistance they would like. If the Home Matters worker is unable to help, they will try and find someone else who can. Please contact your local office for further details (telephone numbers listed above).
