Summary Also known as Friends of Lanka for Aid, Mentoring and Education (Letchworth).

This organisation is open to all and aims to give an awareness of Sri Lankan language, culture, food, social life, films, customs and traditions.

It holds exhibitions, food fairs, seminars, and cookery and languages. All age groups are catered for. Arts and crafts lessons. Intending to start an international luncheon club.

The committee consists of Sri Lankan and English members who have strong links with Sri Lanka.

Psychotherapy, counselling and meditation for stress management.

The organisation provides aid and financial assistance for needy children to further their education in Sri Lanka and the UK. Child and youth centre in Sri Lanka for orphaned children Tsunami devastation.

Funds for this work are raised by social events, charity stalls and Sunday lunches. Major activities are in Hounslow.

Membership is £5.00 per annum. New members welcome.

Date of AGM: February each year

Publications: Twice-yearly newsletter.
