This project was set up by the Watford African-Caribbean Association which was founded in 1976. The project has a number of sub-projects including:

* The African-Caribbean Elders Project for the over-50's. Weekly activities and lunch club.

* The Watford Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia Support Group for sufferers and their families. Monthly meetings.

* The African and Caribbean Supplementary School

* African Caribbean Carers Support and Development programme.
