The aim of the Community Safety and Crime Reduction Dept is to improve community safety through a strong partnership approach that includes neighbourhood watch schemes, crime prevention panels, drug prevention and youth crime prevention.
For neighbourhood watch schemes contact local crime prevention office. The unit also deals with matters related to domestic violence, missing persons and race relations.

Crime Prevention and Community Saftey Officers are located within each of the police divisions in Hertfordshire, which are:
