Herts In Trust has been set up to help secure safer communities in Hertfordshire.

The charity will support and drive projects in Hertfordshire which improve the quality of life for everyone who lives and works in the county, by tackling crime and the fear of crime.

Aims:
* To promote for the public benefit a safer and increased quality of life through the prevention of crime and the protection of people from criminal acts.

* To promote or support activities which encourage the mental,
moral and physical development of young people (whilst diverting them away from crime and anti-social behaviour).

* To advance the education of the public, of all ages, in all matters relating to alcohol and solvent abuse (and the consequent effects of such abuse) and to the effects of crime generally.

The trustees will be pleased to receive applications from registered charities, charitable organisations, community and voluntary groups, statutory bodies undertaking charitable work which are based or undertaking work in Hertfordshire.

Information on previously funded projects and Application forms for grants can be requested by contacting the Trust. Trustees meet quarterly to consider applications.
